New York native, George “lightweight” Stratakis started his art at a young age. Being a product of the Bronx, he used the elements of his surroundings to create beautiful pieces of art that many people related to.

In 1994- George took up the nickname Lightweight. Known for his street art, he idolized artists such as Seen (the godfather of graffiti) and Tats cru (a group of individuals who started a business with their art). George always knew that he had something special within him, he just needed a way to channel it.

Unfortunately- young George was blessed with uncountable misfortunes thru out his life. He relied on art as a salvation to go beyond the pain.

While searching for a new creative way to showcase his art, the thought of canvas bloomed. Using a little of imagination, he started stacking and applying multi canvas’ to give his art a new plane of vision.

Whatever you want to call him- George Stratakis or lightweight, the boy has a gift and wants to share it with the world. Now its up to you to enter his world.
